XS Consulting Group can be characterized as a high quality software development, network services, and business consulting firm, specializing in development and management of software applications and databases, and design, implementation and support of Microsoft NT, Novell, and UNIX networks. Background Remote Development Services: The current use of supplemental, ‘off-shore’ development staffing services by large companies inspired the principals of XSCG to conceive that XSCG could do a better job, still cost-effectively, by making use of technology to provide information and data sharing. Yet we are able to avoid the common ‘off-shore’ problems of physical inaccessibility, time zone differences, and language and business experience barriers. Expanded Services: Upon opening our company in Alexandria, Minnesota, we discovered a critical need by area companies for local support and service beyond software development. Thus began a rapidly growing Network Services division, web site and e-commerce division, and packaged software division. The rapid growth in our company services is aimed at providing a wide range of IT solutions for our customers in West Central Minnesota. The principals and managers of the company have a cumulative 100 plus years in the information technology industry, providing consulting services ranging from analysis, design, programming, testing (QA) and documentation to high-end project management of software applications, systems integration and network solutions. Our industry experience includes wholesale, retail, distribution, manufacturing, transportation and health care.
